Numerical Acumen helps students develop the basics of a numerical mind by providing the practice needed to master key mental computation processes.
Designed as a fun, daily classroom game, just 5 minutes a day will:
Improve students’ accuracy when calculating mentally in a timely manner
- Improve students’ confidence in deciding when and when not to use a calculator
- Numerical acumen helps students develop the mathematical basics of a numerical mind through online quizzes and instructional booklets

Get involved in the Numerical acumen challenge
Each year Numerical Acumen offers a free long-term challenge. Why, because these skills are best developed steadily over an extended period. The challenge spans two terms. CASIO Achievement medals are available to at least three students in every class that takes part. Wonderful class and school level awards are also up for grabs.
